Goals for September 2008

650 Members on or before September 30th.
The best way to get members is to invite your friends that would be interested. Another excellent way is to post our link on your profiles (Yahoo, MySpace, AOL, AIM, etc.). I have also been pretty successful with posting the link as my away message on Yahoo and AOL.

10�or more users in chat at once.
I've seen more than this many members in the chat before, so it is not that hard to accomplish. I always post the link to the site as my Yahoo away message when I am in the chat here. If you want, feel free to add me so you can see when I am in the chat xpassionatedreamerx.

250�or more total posts in the Forums.
Post, post and post. You can post just about anything in our Forums. We have a wide range of topics and boards to choose from. Feel free to post anything you wish (as long as it is legal and abides by the site rules). We currently have 201 posts.

175 or more�total Story/Poem/Article submissions.
If you have written something you'd like to share, feel free to submit it. We have many categories set up for our members to submit their works. You can submit articles, stories, poems, jokes, recipes, tutorials and more. It's listed under Submissions in the navigation menu! We currently have 111 total!

User Gold Changes

I have decided to add some additional features to the site that go hand in hand with our User Gold system. I have decided to start charging members User Gold points to access certain features and for certain things around the site. Why this change? I feel that if we charge members User Gold to do things like download a file, change their avatar, it will encourage more active participation on the website.

Here's an example for you:

A member receives 100 User Gold for registering with the website, but they browse and find a file they REALLY want to download and it costs 300 Gold points.... The member realizes they must share some content, post in the forum or shoutbox or play games to get enough points to get the file... This means they would have to create 20 new threads, post 60 shoutbox messages, reply to 30 threads in the forum, submit a story, poem, joke, recipe etc. , or play quite a few games or a mixture of all of those. At any rate, we would be getting more content for the site if the member decides they want the file bad enough to participate on the site. I know that personally if I am a member of a website that offers points in return for being active, and I can exchange those points for something I want or need, I am willing to be active and participate on that website.

Before the change, the only thing we had working with the site where members could use their hard earned gold was in the games (you always win more there than you lose, except the gambling games) and exchanging gold for prizes or Premium Memberships. I feel adding these new features will be a positive addition to Insatiable Kisses.

I welcome all feedback and suggestions on this topic. If enough members like this new system, I hope to continue to find ways to add more features to charge User Gold to access and use. If enough members demand it, I will also remove this feature, but I would really like to give this idea its fair chance before deciding to take it down.... I hope everyone enjoys it!

Chat Downtime

It appears that our users are having trouble accessing the chats. It is returning an invalid username or password error. I do believe that upgrading the chat system will fix the problem.

You may notice that the chat system (and possibly even the main site) will not work later on. No worries, this is simply because everything is being upgraded.

In the meantime, please do not attempt to access the chat system. Doing so will only further complicate the problem and cause more errors. I will post a message in the shoutbox and the forum once the chat system is available for use again.

Trivia Challenge & Gift System Updated

Up for a challenge? Try out our brand new Trivia quizzes. We have arranged a few different categories with Trivia questions. You never know what categories we may have available or how many questions may be in the category. You can�try as many categories as you want.�The quizzes will change weekly (or bi-weekly depending on the time I have at hand) and the top TEN winners at the end of each trivia session (weekly or bi-weekly) will receive prizes. Here is what the winners will receive (prizes are subject to change):

1st: Gold Medal Award (Profile), 10,000 User Gold Points
2nd: Silver Medal Award (Profile), 8,000 User Gold Points
3rd: Bronze Medal Award (Profile), 6,000 User Gold Points
4th: 5,000 User Gold Points
5th: 4,000 User Gold Points
6th: 3,000 User Gold Points
7th: 2,000 User Gold Points

So, get out there and answer our trivia questions. The Trivia can be found in the Navigation menu under User Gold>Games>Trivia. Simply select the category you want from the drop down menu, click Go�then choose the correct answers and click Submit Answers.

In the event two participants tie, both will receive the place they have earned. For example: Two people tie for first place, both people will be awarded first place prizes.

The Gift System has also been updated. Users now have the ability to Delete gifts from their profile, add a message with a gift, make a gift anonymous (secret admirer style), and make the gift and/or message private to the user it has been given to only. We also now have a gift panel that displays on all pages that will show the newest gift available. I hope everyone enjoys this new update. This is also a great way to leave comments on someones profile! Enjoy All!

New Features & Information

Insatiable Kisses has some new, fun stuff and a lot more is on the way. I have added some gifts to the Gift System. You can give gifts by going to a users profile and click the "Give gift to" link. You will need user gold points to give gifts, so play some games, post some shouts or threads in the forum and have fun. I plan to add some more new gifts to the system over the next few days.

There have been some updates to the FAQ's section. I have added some new questions and answers to the Site Help section. These are the most common questions I get asked, so check the FAQ section to see if you can find an answer to your questions.

I have also added some more Avatars to the BDSM section in the Avatar Gallery. Feel free to browse them and select one you link. Just follow the instructions in the Avatar Gallery.

Elusivesighs has added some EXCELLENT adult movies to our Movies section, so check those out too. Some very hot ones there!

There are some new games available in the arcade, so stop by the arcade and try them out. Don't forget to rate and review the games after you play them. This let's other users know what games are the most enjoyable.

The contests have not been getting much participation... so I will be removing the contests and replacing them with something else that will draw more participation to the site. I am not exactly sure what I will be adding yet, but I will figure something out. The contests will remain up until I can find a replacement for them.

It seems that our articles, stories, and poems sections have been at a major stand still for�a few weeks now. Do not forget that members earn user gold points for submitting articles, stories and poems and also for commenting on and rating other peoples works they have submitted. If you have written ANYTHING you wish to share with others, please post it! I am going to contact some authors of articles I have read on the web and see if they would be willing to post them on our site also!!!

My main focus over the next few weeks with the site is going to be adding some valuable content. I intend to add some things that will be fun and interesting enough to keep our members returning and keep the new members joining.

Everyone has been doing an excellent job with advertising for the site and getting us new members. I am proud of all of you. If all of our members would have followed our rules when we enforced the age and gender required on the profile, to date we would have had well over 550 members (closer to 600).... So, let's keep the good work up and keep those members coming!!

The chat system is available to our members 24/7, so feel free to join the chats any time you want to. I definitely love seeing our users putting the chat system to work! LOL

Donations For Organizations

We have decided to collect donations for some excellent organizations that help the world as a whole. We have set a goal for each of the organizations we are currently collecting donations for. Once the goal for each organization has been met, we will send the money to the organization. We encourage all site members to donate to one of the organizations, even if it is only a $1.00 donation. Help us meet our donation goals by donating.

Not only does your donation help these organizations fund their costs and help with their contributions, but it also gives our website a very good name.

You can make a donation and find out more about the organization by going to Donations>Donate in the Navigation menu. You can also view information about our mission under Donations.

Gift System Updated

The gift system has been updated. The Show All Gifts link in the profiles is now working so you can see all of the users gifts that have been given to them.�I have also added some new gifts that you can purchase for your friends and�I plan to add a bunch more after Christmas.

Thanksgiving Theme & Avatars

I have�installed a theme for Thanksgiving. I hope everyone will enjoy it. If you do not like the theme or do not celebrate Thanksgiving, you can change it via Edit Profile.

There are also some Thanksgiving avatars in the Avatar Gallery for you to use. You can find the Avatar Gallery under Members in the Navigation Menu.

HIV Breakthrough

ScienceDaily (Oct. 21, 2007) � With the latest advances in treatment, doctors have discovered that they can successfully neutralise the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The so-called �combination therapy� prevents HIV from mutating and spreading, allowing patients to rebuild their immune system to the same levels as the rest of the population.

To date, it represents the most significant treatment for patients suffering from HIV.

Professor Jens Lundgren from the University of Copenhagen, together with other members of the research group EuroSIDA, have conducted a study, which demonstrates that the immune system of all HIV-infected patients can be restored and normalised. The only stipulation is that patients begin and continue to follow their course of treatment.

HIV attacks the body�s ability to counteract viruses

Viruses are small organisms that have no independent metabolism. Consequently, when they enter the body they attack living cells and adopt their metabolism. The influenza virus occupies cells in the nose, throat and lungs; the mumps attaches itself to the salivary glands of the ear; while the Polio virus plays on the intestinal tract, blood and salivary glands. In all these instances, our immune system attacks and eliminates the invading virus.

HIV is so deadly because the virus attaches itself to a crucial part of the immune system itself: to the so-called CD4+T lymphocytes, which are white blood corpuscles that help the immune system to fight infections. The Hi-virus forms and invades new CD4+T-lymphocytes. Slowly but surely, the number of healthy CD4+T lymphocytes in the blood fall, while HIV relentlessly weakens the body�s ability to defend itself from infection. Finally, the immune system erodes to such an extent that the infected patient is diagnosed with AIDS. The Hi-virus mutates constantly as it forms and this is why, scientists face a constant battle to find a cure or a vaccine.

Combination therapy knocks out HIV

Combination therapy prevents the virus from forming and mutating in human beings. When the virus is halted in its progress, the number of healthy CD4+T cells begins to rise and patients, who would otherwise die from HIV, can now survive. The immune system is rejuvenated and is apparently able to normalise itself, providing that the combination therapy is maintained. The moment the immune system begins to improve, the HIV-infected patient can no longer be said to be suffering from an HIV infection or disease, already declining in strength.

Improved Downloads Section

I have installed a new "professional" download system to the site. Downloads are now categorized into categories and sub-categories to make things you are looking for easier to find. You can even do a search for specific downloads. Members can upload files through this download system and make them available to other members. This is a very neat system. Just click Downloads under Main Navigation in the Navigation menu. To submit a file, go to Submissions>Submit Fule in the Navigation menu or use the built in uploader in the Downloads system. All downloads must be approved by the staff team before they go live.
